Our aim is to provide up-to-date, accurate and, as far as possible, complete information. In any event, our Company cannot under any circumstances be held liable for the accuracy, completeness or quality of the information provided on the website. Consequently, we accept no liability for any material or immaterial damage arising from the use or non-use of the information provided, or from the use of incorrect or incomplete information. The statements contained on this website are not directly binding and must always be confirmed by email or in writing by the website owner.
Privacy Policy
PROTEZIONI s.r.l. hereby informs you that this page describes how the company website (“Website”) is managed with regard to the processing of personal data of visitors and users who consult it.
This policy is provided in accordance with Italian and European legislation on the protection of personal data (EU Regulation 2016/679) for those who interact with the Site’s web services and, therefore, does not apply to information collected through channels other than this website.
It does not, therefore, refer to processing carried out via other partner sites of PROTEZIONI s.r.l., which the user may access via links from this website. For such processing, a separate privacy notice must be provided by the respective Data Controllers.
Who processes users' data
The data controller for data collected as a result of visiting this website is PROTEZIONI s.r.l. (“Firm”), with registered office at Viale Spagna, 4 (Industrial area) – 73100 Lecce, VAT Number 04281160756, Telephone number +39 0832 254511, E-mail: info@protezionisrl.com, certified email address: info@pec.protezionisrl.com
Personal Data Protection Officer:
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to verify that our processing of personal data complies with this policy and with Italian and European legislation.
The Data Protection Officer (LiquidLaw Srl) can be contacted at the following address: privacy@liquidlaw.it. The DPO acts as the point of contact for requesting and receiving information regarding the processing of your personal data and as the contact for the supervisory authority.
What personal data we collect and why (purposes and legal basis for processing)
Personal data refers to all information relating to you that allows us to identify you, such as your first name, surname, contact details, telephone number, email address and information regarding your access to our website.
We may collect your personal data when you contact us on the telephone numbers provided, send an email, complete online forms or use the social media plug-ins available on the Website.
By using or accessing this Website, PROTEZIONI s.r.l. will therefore process the data of visitors and users for the following purposes:
- provide information about its products (contractual and/or pre-contractual purposes);
- respond to requests for information, contact/quotes or requests to become a partner (contractual and/or pre-contractual purposes);
- responding to requests to subscribe to the newsletter service (subject to consent, which must be given when subscribing to the newsletter, the user will receive commercial and/or promotional communications regarding the Company’s products and services);
- to grant access to restricted areas of the website (contractual and/or pre-contractual purposes);
- to manage data provided voluntarily (email, certified email, etc.) in order to provide specific information and/or support services (contractual and/or pre-contractual purposes);
- to analyse aggregated and anonymous data on visitor and user behaviour or to analyse, based on aggregated data, behaviour on the website (legitimate interest);
- to manage the receipt of CVs sent by users via the “Your career at Protezioni” section (if you send us your CV to apply for an open position, we will use the information contained therein exclusively for that purpose; your CV will be retained for a maximum period of twelve months, after which it will be deleted; if you wish, you may of course send us a new, updated version).
We will only process your personal data if we have a legal basis for doing so. The legal basis will depend on the reasons for which we have collected and need to use your personal data. In some cases, these reasons consist of the need to respond to your requests (contractual or pre-contractual purposes), to comply with specific legal and/or regulatory requirements, or to pursue the legitimate interests of the Data Controller; in other cases, however, the legal basis is consent (for example, for marketing activities and the sending of newsletters containing commercial communications).
Newsletter
Upon the user’s specific request, expressed by voluntarily subscribing to the newsletter service (the legal basis for which is the user’s consent), we may use the email address for commercial communications regarding our products, in order to provide updates on new developments, offers and promotions. Should the user wish to receive this service but subsequently no longer wish to receive further communications, or wish to restrict the methods by which they are contacted, they may at any time opt out of these communications simply by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each communication or by contacting the Data Controller at the contact details provided above.
Soft spam
The Company may use, for the purposes of direct sales of the services offered, the email address provided by the user (e.g. in the context of a direct sale or request for information on the Website, or provided when using one of the services offered) even without the user’s consent, provided that the service is similar to that of the user’s previous request or sale (so-called “soft spamming”). You may, however, object to this processing at any time by notifying us of your objection. The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest in sending this type of communication. This legitimate interest may be considered equivalent to your interest in receiving “soft-spam” communications.
Where we obtain data and the nature of its provision (including the consequences of a refusal to provide it)
Your data may be collected online when you browse the website or if you send emails, certified emails (PEC) or make phone calls to the numbers provided; in particular, personal details, your email address and, where requested, your telephone number are necessary for the purposes indicated above (such as, for example, responding to your enquiries).
Failure to provide the data necessary to respond to your requests may make it impossible to provide you with a comprehensive reply or the other available services. Depending on the circumstances and, where necessary, you will be informed on a case-by-case basis as to whether the provision of personal data is mandatory or optional (e.g. to make a specific request). The mandatory or optional nature of data provision will be highlighted by means of a notice or a specific marking on mandatory information. Finally, please note that failure to provide optional personal data will not entail any obligation or disadvantage.
To whom we communicate/disclose your data
For the purposes of using online services, as well as to comply with specific legal and/or regulatory requirements or for the legitimate interests of PROTEZIONI s.r.l., your data may be disclosed to:
- our employees and internal staff (e.g. staff and employees specifically authorised to process data, agents or resellers within the territory who form part of our sales network);
- third-party companies contractually linked to the company or other entities that carry out outsourced activities and services on behalf of the Data Controller (third-party technical service providers such as, for example, hosting providers, communications agencies, providers of web platform development and maintenance services, providers of development, delivery and operational management services for the technological platforms used, etc.), appointed where necessary as external data processors;
- third parties for whom this is necessary and essential (or in any case functional) for the performance of PROTEZIONI s.r.l.’s activities
Social media: we may use social media plug-ins on our website. Consequently, data will be shared with the social media service and may be shared on your social media profile. Please refer to the privacy policies of these third-party social media providers to find out more about these practices.
Personal data will not be disclosed under any circumstances. This is without prejudice, however, to the disclosure of data requested, in accordance with the law, by the police, the judicial authorities, intelligence and security agencies or other public bodies for the purposes of national defence or security, or the prevention, investigation or prosecution of criminal offences.
To whom we transfer your data
The processing and storage of personal data will take place in Italy and, in any event, within the European Union. The data will not be transferred outside the European Union. It is understood, however, that should we deem it necessary, we reserve the right to change the location of the servers to Italy and/or the European Union and/or non-EU countries. In such a case, we will ensure from the outset that the transfer of data outside the EU takes place in accordance with the applicable legal provisions by entering into, where necessary, agreements that guarantee an adequate level of protection and/or by adopting the standard contractual clauses provided for by the European Commission, or only where another requirement in accordance with applicable Italian and European legislation is met.
How long we retain your data
The data collected by the Website during its operation is used exclusively for some of the purposes indicated above and retained for the time strictly necessary to carry out our activities.
We will not retain data for a period longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was processed. To determine the appropriate retention period, we take into account the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the purposes for which we process it, and whether we can achieve those purposes by other means.
The data collected by and via the Website will therefore be retained for as long as is necessary to respond to enquiries and, even after the termination of the relationship, to manage any contractual, pre-contractual, administrative or legal obligations connected with or arising from such enquiries; except where you have not given your explicit consent in relation to certain services offered, in which case processing may continue until such consent is withdrawn. In the case of the newsletter service, your data will be retained until you object or request to unsubscribe from the service.
How we process data and comply with legislation on data protection
Data processing is carried out lawfully and fairly, in accordance with the principle of data minimisation.
Personal data is processed using electronic and automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes indicated above. Specific technical and organisational security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use, and unauthorised access. We adopt a set of technical and organisational security measures designed to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your data.
How we safeguard your rights
PROTEZIONI s.r.l. informs you that, in accordance with the new European data protection legislation, in certain circumstances you have the right:
- to ask us to confirm whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed and, if so, to obtain access to the data and to all the information relating to that processing;
- to obtain the rectification and correction of inaccurate personal data and to supplement incomplete data, including by providing a supplementary declaration;
- to obtain cancellation if:
- the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed;
- the data has been processed unlawfully;
- the data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation;
- you have withdrawn your consent;
- you object to the processing;
- to obtain restriction of processing where one of the following applies:
- if you contest the accuracy of the personal data, for the period necessary for us to verify such accuracy;
- if the processing is unlawful and you object to the erasure of the personal data and request instead that its use be restricted;
- where the personal data is necessary for the establishment or exercise of a legal claim by the data subject;
- if you have objected to the processing, pending verification of whether our legitimate grounds override yours;
- to request the transfer of your personal information in an electronic and structured format to another party (“data portability”);
- to object, in whole or in part, to the processing;
- to withdraw the consent (in this case, the withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before the withdrawal);
- to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (for further information, please visit the website www.garanteprivacy.it).
If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please send a request to the following e-mail addresses: info@protezionisrl.com or info@pec.protezionisrl.com.
